Portfolio Submission Guidelines for the Open Shutter Gallery

Open Shutter Gallery will accept portfolio submissions twice yearly, October 1 and April 1.
Portfolios submitted via email will not be accepted.

Please Include in Portfolio:

  • Cover Letter, Including contact information and price range
  • Resume / Curriculum Vitae
  • Artist’s Statement
  • A sampling of your work can be submitted one of two ways:
    Slide sheet with at least 10 slides (8.5 x 11 sheet) -or- CD/ Contact Sheet
  • Small Print (around 8x10) that exemplifies your printing style
  • Self-Addressed Stamped Envelope (if necessary)

If we agree to sell your work, we will split sales proceeds on a 50/50 basis. Shipping costs to and from the gallery will be split 50/50. We require the photographer to frame and wire-for-hanging all photographs for sale.
